Share your story

Between October and Christmas, the Diocese of Portsmouth is inviting any Catholic who no longer attends church, or has stopped practising their faith to share their story. Bishop Philip would personally like to hear from them.

He says: “There are many people in Portsmouth and beyond, who were baptised Catholic but for one reason or another have lost interest in what the Catholic Church has to say. If you feel this way, then as the bishop, I’d love to hear from you!

On the other hand, you may feel you are still interested and are attracted to the Church, but you don’t have time for Sunday Mass. Or perhaps you find church boring, or your local parish unfriendly?

Sadly, there are some who feel alienated from the Church because it has harmed or rejected them in some way. But again, if this is you, I’d love to hear from you!”

If this is someone you know, invite them to take this 15 minute survey here:
