Company Director Swaps Church Supplies for London to Paris Cycle Ride for Nugent Care

On 29th July 2015, Andrew Ware of church supply manufacturer Hayes & Finch, tackled a four day cycle ride from London to Paris in aid of Liverpool charity Nugent Care.

Liverpool born and bred Andrew undertook the 80 mile a day challenge to support local charity Nugent Care, who the company have championed for many years.

The team at Hayes & Finch, based in Aintree, Liverpool has supported the charity through various fundraisers and events and Company Director Andrew was confident he will raise more than ever before for the cross-channel cycle.

Andrew, 43, who is a keen cyclist, said: “Hayes & Finch are huge supporters of the various projects that Nugent Care provide throughout not only Liverpool but also the North West. We know that every penny is going to help a fantastic cause and we want to continue in playing our part”.

Andrew visited one particular project, Epsom Project or “Epsy” as it’s known, a community service for local children to engage with after school and during school holidays, and was inspired by the positive work for the 18s group.

“The cycle is going to be a huge challenge but I’ve no doubt it will be worth it to see how the money raised helps the various projects Nugent Care provide, including those at Epsom Street. We’re proud to support such a fantastic local charity.”

Andrew completed his cycle and raised over £1300!
